Celebrating Milestones

Every family looks forward to seeing a child’s first smile, first step, and first words. Regular screenings with early childhood professionals help raise awareness of a child’s development, making it easier to celebrate developmental milestones. That is why at Project 2000, we ensure each child gets an initial developmental screening upon enrollment as we partner with parents to plan for their child’s growth.

Ongoing child assessment

We engage in ongoing child assessment using the Teaching Strategies Gold assessment tool as we partner with you, the parent to plan for your child’s growth and development.

Diaper Services

In our program, parents are relieved from bringing diapers and wipes for their children. We will provide diapers and wipes for children in care and for parents to take home if needed.

Free Books and Home Activities

To extend learning at home, we provide home activities to parents and tools to carry out learning at home. Please ask your teacher for resources you might need to extend learning at home.

Invitation to our Family Music Program

Project 2000 is also a licensed Music Together center that provides high quality music and movement activities for families. For 1 year beginning January 2024, we are offering our family music program to families with children infant to 6 at no cost due to a generous grant provided by the Gathering Collaborative to address Racism as a Public Health Crisis.
